Greetings. I am Sir Gigous, but you may call me what you wish. I am a male, 16-year-old noncommercial author, who is a militant Christian and a foolish idiot more often than not...

I prefer to keep personal details away from the prying eyes of the internet. Still, here is a small amount of information concerning myself:

Avatar: Cal Devens, before the insanity set in.

Personality: I always feel rather awkward when communicating with others on FanFiction.net, primarily due to the discrepancies between my outlook and that of others. Most users seem fairly enthusiastic in nature, with a lively and optimistic attitude. I'm the antithesis of this; I'm a rather pessimistic and quiet individual, with an awkward and antisocial demeanor. This causes a rather large divergence to form between my modern writing style and the writing style of others. On the sliding scale of idealism vs. cynicism, I certainly weigh heavily upon the latter. I say this so that all may be forewarned, should one expect to find my stories primarily idealistic like most others.

Writing Style: I'd like to believe my writing style remains as optimistic as it once was, but with age and maturity comes a skeptical outlook, and I can't help but admit that my mindset is much darker than it once was. This doesn't mean I'm going to purposefully attempt to write edgy stories, but know that adult themes will be much more prevelent throughout my modern fanfictions. Although fear not--I will still strive to avoiding unnecessary cursing as much as possible.

As to the hard facts concerning my style, I tend to write in 1st person; the emotional attachment formed when writing in first person more than offsets any potential benefits of writing in another style; at least in my opinion. I also tend to write stories/one-shots featuring crack pairings. Crack pairings always prove entertaining.

Story Images: All the images featured in my stories were custom drawn by my younger sister unless otherwise noted, and likewise cannot be used without my explicit permission. She's an amazing artist considering she hasn't even entered junior high yet, and any encouragement is greatly appreciated.

Favorite Words: Juxtapose, antithesis, subterfuge, obstreperous, parsimonious, lugubrious, perspicacity, and pulchritudinous.

-Who am I

A(n) (il)logical poem by Sir Gigous

Who am I, I sometimes ask myself.
I am myself, I respond.
But how can I be myself and yet ask myself who I am?
Am I myself squared?
Are we both myself, you and I, because I'm talking to you?
Am I myself and you myself?
If we are both myself, does that mean I am you?
And what about me?
Am I me?
Does that make me I, myself, and you?
And am I you, me, and myself?
So I am you.
You are me.
And we are both myself.
Now I am confused.
So is that who I am; confused?
If you are me, are you confused as well?
And since you could be anyone, and since everyone could be anyone, then is everyone confused?
Confused about who they are?

Stories I Have Written:

Note: All current stories, with the exception of Orange Tea, are dead, which means they will not be continued unless either another author wishes to continue the work or I return to them for some odd reason (which is incredibly unlikely).

(Written in the order that they were first published; the higher the earlier they were published, the lower the later.)

Orange Tea - Rune Factory 2: It's post Raguna's and Julia's wedding, and Max's entire life has taken a downward plunge. Now insecure and unsure of himself, he gives up on doing anything in life except rotting in solitude. As Max's life takes a downward turn, however, Cecilia begins to notice things she didn't remember before about her master, and feelings begin to ignite. Will Max's life ever return to the way it was? And will Cecilia gather up the courage to admit her true feelings before it is too late? This was my first story and thus is not as well written as my more recent stories. My author's notes were also immature at times, as a word of warning, but all together this story remains a favorite of mine. Incomplete.

Role Model - Rune Factory 2: This is just a simple one-shot featuring the unique pairing of Aaron/Tanya, except for the fact that it's one-sided and Tanya never actually makes an appearance. I realize it's completely unfounded and that, realistically, kids rarely fall in love with adults, but I had fun with it, and that's what counts. It may not be one of my better stories, but it's still worth reading--just don't hold me accountable if you find an error. Complete.

Forbidden - The Rune Factory Series: A simple one-shot I wrote in the wee hours of the morning, this story is very vague, and leaves a lot of room for speculation. You can fill in the male and female character with nearly whoever you please, although there are three specific pairings I chose to fill those slots. Regardless, tell me who you think the two characters are. Complete.

Whispers and Dreams - Rune Factory 3: 'I had never figured life could change so drastically over the course of one night. But it did. And I swear, my love, that when I find who did this to you and sister, they will pay. Oh, will they pay.' The premise of my first mystery fic, written primarily in Monica's P.O.V. but also in Micah's P.O.V., revolves around one fateful event, which occurred late one winter night. As already stated, this story will be written in two different P.O.V.s, with Monica searching the post-event Sharance for clues as to who attacked Micah and her sister, while Micah relives the days leading up to the event in his subconsciousness. What is unique, however, is that Micah will not only reveal what led up to the event, but his observations of pre-event actions will correspond with Monica's findings in the real world, as they could either prove or disprove Monica's suspicions. This story was taken down due to the fact that it wasn't very good, and because I know I will never finish it. If you wish to read the two chapters I have written, PM me.

Feeling - Rune Factory 2: A vague and depressing one-shot with a premise hauntingly close to the reality of many American teens today, this story follows the life of a boy who relies on the love of others in order to feel secure and happy. What you make of it is up to you, but I encourage giving it a read. Aaron/Cammy with a little Aaron/Leann thrown in the mix. Written in 3rd person. Complete.

Bouquet - Rune Factory 3: Every girl is worth a bouquet. For Micah, one girl in particular is worth an unusually grand bouquet. Written in Micah's P.O.V., this is a simple Micah/Evelyn one-shot designed to get my creative juice flowing once more after a couple month hiatus. Though this one-shot wasn't designed to be a great story of mine, I recommend checking it out regardless if you're looking for a sweet--yet rather cliche--romantic one-shot. Also note that this story marked the start of my using poems to open my stories. Just an interesting tidbit.

Bro-ette - Rune Factory 3: Carlos always thought that his sister and fishing were all he needed to satisfy his heart. That is, until he catches sight of Raven in a new light; one which causes adoration to bloom within him. Will he get the girl? Another crack one-shot, this was inspired by a dialogue between Micah and Carlos, in which Carlos admits having been temporarily infatuated with Raven while purchasing a sword at the blacksmith's. It's not particularly great, having been the first fanfiction I've written in almost a year, but I suppose it's worth a read if the premise interests you. Just be warned you'll likely need a dictionary to decipher it.

Story/Chapter in the Works:

Eros - Rune Factory 2 - A kiss can embody many feelings. While the gesture universally represents love, love, in and of itself, can be many things. Between most siblings, it's an affectionate fondness due to familiarity. Between Aaron and Aria, however, it's something far more. Aaron/Aria. Incest. An one-shot, written from Aaron's P.O.V.

ETA: Within the next week, I'd wager. It's merely an one-shot, so it won't take very long to write.

Stories/Chapters I Am Planning On Writing:

(Written in the order in which I plan to publish; the higher the sooner I plan on writing them, the lower the later.)

Orange Tea ch. 10 - In this chapter, Cecilia takes proactive measures in the pursuit of her loved one. However, will her actions backfire? And why is Rosalind so enthusiastic?

Story Ideas:

(Written in the order of likelihood of being published, with the idea at the top most likely to be published and the idea at the bottom least likely. Note that these are merely ideas, and the likelihood of their actual creation is incredibly slim.)

(Untitled) - Phantom Requiem for the Phantom - A rewrite of the final one-third of the season, and possibly beyond. What if Reiji had taken Cal with him in response to Lizzie's call, resulting in him fleeing with Cal instead of Eren? The result is a completely different plotline, involving new characters and locations, as well as a much more sinister plan by Scythe Master to conquer Inferno.

Torn - MegaMan Battle Network - Having entered adolescence, Lan's feelings for Mayl begin to grow as they become closer and closer companions. However, as Lan's feelings grow, MegaMan's feelings for Roll begin to wain, with a certain other Navi beginning to take her place. As an uprising organization attempts to monopolize the net, will this conflict of interests between operator and Navi interfere with their ability to the upcoming threat?

Rune Factory Cross-over:

I'm currently in the works of planning an alternate history war fic cross-over for the Rune Factory series, involving all the characters from Rune Factory 1-3 and Frontier. While I cannot reveal too many details at this point in time, it involves the conflict between the Univir and people of Sharance, and will likely end up quite massive in length. A very loose outline has been formed, and a more in-depth outline is in the works. If you have any ideas you wish to have implemented, I am open to suggestions, but know that simply because you share a concept with me doesn't mean I will reveal any further details concerning the story.

If anyone wishes to PM me for any reason, please do so. Most people feel uncomfortable PMing strangers out of the blue, but I assure you that I value ever PM I receive.

Anyway, thank you for reading my lengthy profile. Enjoy my stories and all fanfiction has to offer.
