Greetings, fellow fanfiction enthusiasts. This is AngelOfDarkness1959, “Angel” to some, and I’d like to thank you for stopping by my profile.

As the picture on the left can tell you, I’m a huge fan of villains and as such, they usually take center stage in any fic that I write, Genesis of a Villain being the biggest example. They fascinate me… and let’s face it, more than half the time, they’re more interesting than their heroic counterparts. My favorites (again, discernible from the picture) are Maleficent and Jafar.

My personal canon works a bit differently than Disney presents it, namely where the sequels are concerned. Toontown as I present it functions on the basis that each movie from the main canon (Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, etc.) has actually happened just as it was seen. The sequels, however, operate on an “every lie is based on a kernel of truth” basis – some are completely “real”, while some have characters and/or elements that are real, and others are totally made up.

So, with all that said… enjoy.

In the Works

Genesis of a Villain: My take on the backstories of some of Disney's villains and how they came to be the baddies we all love to hate. I'll try to do requests if I think I can do them justice. IN PROGRESS

Restoration: (working title) Jafar and Maleficent try to get Nasira out of Agrabah and help her adjust to life in Toontown.

Bridges Built and Burnt: (working title) A two-shot, one chapter for Maleficent and Fauna, another for Leah and Aurora. Just something to showcase the mother/daughter bonds as they alternately crumble and are formed.

Blah, blah, blah, excuses, excuses.

Before I go any further, I feel I should point out that I am in fact actively working on several stories (or trying to, at least). Motivation isn’t a problem, everything else is.

I swear to you all, I had at least half of the first chapter of Bridges Built and Burnt written down in a notebook of mine. Said notebook has either been stolen or was sucked into a black hole when I wasn’t looking because it is the definition of gone, meaning that I have to rewrite it all again. I’ve also stalled with Genesis and have somehow managed to write myself into multiple corners for Restoration. Didn’t know that was possible. On top of that, I have real world issues to contend with and have just been accepted into college, meaning more work for me.

The point is, my life is a tad hectic at the moment. I’m hopeful that with summer getting closer, I’ll be able to focus more on my writing. I just didn’t want anyone to think I’d forgotten about it.
