Redwall Memorial Competiton
I am trying to organize an annual competition to commemorate Brian Jacques passing and to strengthen the Redwall community. Please see the link to contribute ideas.
Regarding Updates to my only story so far:
I am the type of writer that have ideas come to me in bursts and flashes. I may have two chapters up in one day and one chapter up in a month. So updates will not be regular, sorry!
I'm also getting back to school and I am in my final year (AIYAAAAAAAA I'm dead) so I won't have as much time for updates to Saga of the Ferret Princess as usual. Don't be worried, I will not suspend it, not ever! I'm encouraged to write faster and better with reviews so please give me as many reviews as possible.
I am a student. I like reading a lot and writing, watching anime, reading manga, watching TV, playing computer games, namely League of Legends and Starcraft. I take Taekwondo and I am a black belt, which is nothing, it's the belt in which you realize you're nothing. In the past, I wrote books of my own ideas without much success because I never was able to actually finish a book due to sudden and frequent, mind-blanks:( so I've turned to writing fanfiction, and I think I'm starting to have some success :D I'm also a history freak, and knowledgeable on Roman, World War II and Medieval history . I try to stick to accurate weapons in my writing and use names from history as character names in my writing. Sometimes though, modern dialogue finds its way into my story so I apologize in advance for that.

The Seventh Tower Series- Garth Nix - Fantasy
I also like many other book series such as Guardians of Ga'Hoole, but the above listed are my favorites.
The books I dislike:
Twilight series- Stephanie Meyer Sorry Twilight fans, but I can't stand that series.
Stuff I recommend to read: (Other than my favorites)
One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich- Alexander Solzhenitsyn ( its dreary, but the descriptions are...mind blowing...)
Stalin's Folly- Constantine Pleshakov (It's non-fiction in a very narrative form. All about how Stalin screwed up big time prior to and during the first days of the German attack on Russia. Slightly morbid.)
Horrible Histories Series- Terry Deary (Non-fiction at it's best for the kids, preteens and even teenagers. Extremely funny, yet informative. Nothing compared to a book on history, but it's more interesting than normal textbooks. There are also the Horrible Geography and Horrible Science series that are just as funny and informative.)
Time - It's an american magazine, that is quite informative, I don't read all of it, but it provides some interesting info about current events.
The Redwall series was some of the first really long chapter books I started reading...I started when i was uh...can't remember. Not sure, I am pretty sure that my first two books were Martin the Warrior and Redwall.
Favorite Redwall Warrior (besides Martin the Warrior):
Favorite Badgelord or lady:
Sunflash the Mace (Outcast of Redwall)
Skarlath (Outcast of Redwall)
Favorite Good species:
Don't have any, I try not to play favorites. I dislike voles though...I think they're slightly treacherous and annoying. Well...Yoofus (Rakkety) is a liar and thief, which I dislike, but his comic relief kind of makes it up.
Favorite Vermin species:
Ferrets, I really liked Swartt Sixclaw from Outcast of Redwall. That was the main reason I chose ferrets to be the main antagonist for my first fan fiction.
In the Far or Near Future:
Though Saga of the Ferret Princess is only about 1/3 done, maybe less, I'm thinking about a new FF, probably Redwall and I have a few options. Please vote on the poll on the profile. :D Oh and this fan fic will start AFTER Saga, not during because I'll kill myself doing so.
