Current News: Transformations is now complete, and Internal Warfare has begun as of 2/15/12! Vincent is still the main focus, but this story is on a much larger scale and involves more of the other characters and several plotlines. 'IW' will be my major project in 2013, as well as continuing regular work on Closing the Distance. I will also be updating Behind the Scenes and Life's Little Challenges as inspired.

About JenesisX: I'm the same author who used to run the Sephiroth & Vincent Tribute Page years ago. I am probably best known for my first multi-chapter fic, Irony of Fate. I began writing fanfiction for Final Fantasy VII in 1998, took a few long breaks, then seemed to drop off the face of the planet in 2003. I'm pretty sure I was pressumed deceased by most of my readers as nearly a decade passed, but at the beginning of 2012 I got randomly inspired and started writing again. This site is my home now, and I've been adding to my AU ever since. I have plenty of ideas in the works, so I won't be vanishing again any time soon. I attempt to update at least every other week if not more often, but I have Fibromyalgia and also suffer from chronic migraines, and these conditions often prevent me doing as much as I'd like. About My Continuity: My stories take place after an alternate series of events based on the original Final Fantasy VII game. My AU began when I altered the plot of the original game to have Sephiroth learn about his past and become a member of Avalanche (during Irony of Fate). That effects the way the rest of the story plays out and shapes the universe in which all my other fics occur. My 'major' stories happen in the following chronological order: Irony of Fate, Interlude, Battlegrounds, Life After Death, On My Honor, Transformations, and Internal Warfare. I've written a few short prequels, and most of the rest of my short stories happen from right after Battlegrounds onward unless otherwise stated in the Author's Notes. If you are confused or have any questions, please feel free to PM me! I realize there's a lot of history here for someone new to my AU, and I will always reply and do my best to clear things up. My beta and I have a website in the works to help organize and explain all of this, and hopefully it will be linked here in early 2013!

Disclaimers: I obviously do not own the Final Fantasy VII world or any of the characters within, but the stories here are all my own original ideas and writing.
