I'm a single mom of three, and I love to read and to write. A long, long time ago, in a galaxy that feels far, far away, I was the beta reader turned co-author with a friend on some long-forgotten fics. Seriously--my computer crashed, and my friend quit writing and we fell out of contact, so I don't even have copies of my work anymore. As for individual writing--I've been on this site for a looong time, but haven't gotten the courage to post anything here yet. Maybe someday. :-)

I'm a school teacher with some background in literature and creative writing, so I'm very picky about what I read. There are MANY stories I start and quickly give up on due to poor grammar or storylines that are just TOO out of character, but for stories I love, I try to leave reviews with kudos and/or constructive criticism. Sometimes all I can say is, "Wow," or, "Yummy. Happy sigh."

I'm a hopeless romantic, (and a bit of a sci-fi/fantasy-adventure geek.) My two favorite authors of all time are Madeleine L'Engle and Jane Austen, but I love so many authors from so many genres that it would take forever to list them all.
