I don't really understand why Edward stopped Emmett from saying Edward lived in Seattle that first night at dinner. I mean, I get that at a certain point, he didn't want to talk about all of that in front of his family, but that seems a little extreme. Also, he shares in the responsibility for this misunderstanding - Bella made it quite clear the next day that her memory of the previous night was more than a little hazy. But it's all moot, as they've worked it out now.
I definitely got ahead of myself earlier, though, didn't I? Lives in Seattle - check. Works at Harborview with Jasper? No. Which, honestly, is better. I mean, I know stalker Edward is canon, but this is better.

Chagrin! "'Cause seriously, who even uses that phrase?!" LOL.
The waltz and Edward's dancing is a nice nod to canon, too, although I like that Bella doesn't have two left feet. The clumsiness isn't a canon trait that translates well to AH stories, IMO, because it was meant to demonstrate why Bella was destined to be a vampire. When that's not part of the equation, it's not necessary. So well done.

One of my favorite chapters in this story for sure. Loved it. I am so glad that he told her that first night they hung out that he lived near her and that he was not keeping it a secret out of some perverse idea to surprise her about at the end of the trip, because that just wouldn't have been a nice thing to do at all. Also, I am so glad he didn't keep it a secret because he wasn't sure if he wanted to see her after the cruise either, because well the reason why that wouldn't be good is just way too obvious. I think the truth that he told her that first date-night is genius. Why didn't I think of that?
I am still in the dark though as to why Rose kicked Emmett under the table when he was about to say something about - probably - where his brother is living, when Bella mentioned where she lives. What was that about anyway? I hope you explain that in the last chapter. Anyway, terrific story and really enjoyed this chapter. I hope you plan to do a sequel to this story some day, since you totally could do one that happens in their future sometime and I have a feeling you had a lot of fun writing this one, so a sequel would be fun for you too, and us. Thanks.

Wait, what? Does Edward think that Bella knows he lives in Seattle too? I'm assuming that he does, by his words he just said, but does he think that he already had this conversation with Bella, telling her that he does not any-longer live across the country from her but in fact lives down the proverbial street? Or has he just finally, revealed his cards that he has kept far too close to his chest, for my liking, for far too long? Oh this is good.
