I liked it. Really nice. Gotta say, I was surprised that Katniss agreed to go with him to that party. I assume things will not go well.

Is this going to be "When will they do it" story? Or will they get into some real mischief? Will they have gruesome adventures together, like THG? Stay tuned, this could be exciting.
I like your characterizations so far. I like Peeta as the bad boy with a good heart, and I'm quite partial to a kick-ass Katniss. It drives me crazy when my beloved Peeta is portrayed as mean, cruel, or sadistic, and I don't like to see Katniss portrayed as a victim.
Did your author notes say this is a first fic? It's off to a very promising start.
