What a wonderful and powerful one shot. It doesn't need to explain how or why, it just lets the characters and story unfold, their emotions raw and tender, years of turmoil boiling up to one lovely and tender moment. Thank you!

Four words: Please expand on this!

This is one of the best stories I've read where the parents survive. You've tied up loose ends from the movie like Anna's memories and Marshmallow's aftermath while creating a whole new engrossing tale about two characters with almost no screen time. There's so much more you can do with this like how the parents survived, how they'll repair their bond with their daughters, how Arendelle's citizens will take the news, etc. This is too good to stop now. I and all the other reviewers urge you to continue this for a little longer. It's already a great oneshot, but there's so much potential here to explore that it would be a shame not to do so.

I'd love to see what happens after this. Your fanfic is amazing!

I know I'm the editor so you've heard all of my comments already, but holy crap this fic is amazing. Your characterizations are perfect, the story is solid, and I even started crying at a few places. If you continue this story, I will be more than happy to glance over it for you. Thank you for posting this! :D

I myself am one of the other "relatively rare writers" taking on this same premise; though aside from the concept of the King and Queen being alive, yours is fairly different from mine - although we both had Anna say to her parents that they took Elsa from her. Plus you only needed one chapter to let the healing actually start, but I and others wouldn't mind more.

In any case, I'm quite happy to be sharing the same subgenre of premises with you.

This is great. Seriously, of the relatively rare writers that tackle this premise you're one of the best. This is something I would have loved to see in the movie. The Arendelle royal family struggling to reconnect after 13 long years and the former king and queen realizing that they seriously messed up. I would love to see what else you can do with this, because you have a better grasp on these characters than most. Marshmallow was fantastic, such a small part, but you wrote the little he had so well that he felt like the one we had in the movie. Let alone the rest of the characters, everyone was genuine.

It would be interesting to see your take on a one shot from the King and Queen's point of view. What do they think of Anna and Kristoff, how do they deal with seeing Elsa succeed in spite of everything that they did while seeing the obvious hurt they inflicted? What do they think of protective Anna?

What ever direction you choose to go in, if at all, I'm eager to see it. However, this one shot was very well made. It doesn't necessarily NEED a continuation if you're doubting that. (Though I think I'm not alone in wanting one. :D) This was a great read.

There aren't too many stories that deal with the King and Queen returning, and by far I think this is the best. You got the emotions right, and motivations of the King and Queen as well. There are things that need to be answered, but those are needed for this.

For your question earlier, yes you should do more. Like how they survived, the politics of the returning monarchs, and of course Anna forgiving them... and for some reason having Kristoff/Elsa would be a nice touch, but that's just me wanting to see more of that paring.

This was wonderful. You have no idea how much it tears me up inside that their parents died without getting to see how wrong they were about everything, without getting to go through the process of actually apologizing, of making things better. Anna's protective side was great, as was both of the girls' uncertainty about how to react towards the end. That and you brought in Marshmallow! I think it would be great if you turned this into a series of oneshots, there's so much left to explore.

I really enjoyed reading this. I've never even thought of a story line where the parents are alive. You did a great job making the emotions seem realistic. I think it would have been awkward if it was a big happy reunion, what with all the loneliness, anger, and hurt Elsa and Anna must have felt losing each other as children. You should totally keep adding to this story, it would be great to see more of the family relationship and how they mend their bonds.

I love it. I really enjoy your point of view on the way a reunion would have gone.

Wow! Really cool idea! I like how you wrote their return and the emotions that came with it so realistically! Good job! :)

Very nice one-shot, seems a bit of a jumble, but invokes emotions!
