Interesting concept. Only a few things bothered me.
-Tri-Force wasn't capitalized last chapter.
-The Four Sword containing Vaati was somehow in Lorule (haven't played ALBW, but have played ALttP, and objects weren't always the same between the two). Unless this is like an Elemental Sanctuary sort of thing where two realms are linked by one location. Or two I guess. Makes the most sense, imo.
Rambled there a bit. Sorry.
-The word "check" this chapter could be replaced by "rupees". Less modern lingo keeps the reader involved.
Other than that, I'd like to see where you would have gone with this idea. Vaati isn't powerless. He could rip through the dungeon cell and confront the princess before... Oh I don't know. Maybe making a show of force? Vaati can play the waiting game just fine when he needs to, but being incapacitated by this Zelda wanna-be would make him furious. His ego bruised, he would seek retribution of some kind. Don't really know Hilda so not sure what her response would be.
One thing's for sure: this relationship would not be healthy no matter how long or short it was.

An original concept, an good author, and a decent intro.
I love this all ready. My only request is more. I'd hate to have such a wonderful story wither away like a dying flower.

Hmmm... never thought of it that way... power-shipping... that's pretty good, I do happen to like this fic so far, so I am hoping that you will be updating frequently, as this will go on my list of 'waiting to read'.
Please do take your time, but know that you will be cursed should you forget about this whole thing for a year and a half...

So, yeah. Not really sure how she was expecting that to turn out, but you seem to have already covered it. :)
I do hope Hilda and Vaati come to some sort of awkward, stable... equilibrium (?) at some point. That would be amusing, for me at least. Making stuff up on the fly is always scary for me. Good luck!

Oh, this is intriguing. I loved Vaati's reaction to the existence of Lorule. Never read any fics about him before, but now I kind of want to. Actually, they probably all suck though. I'll just keep reading this, and pretend there's more good stuff "somewhere."
