Well, this certainly was an interesting read. I noticed that with each repetition of someone asking what Latvia wrote, each way he evaded it much like someone guilty, yet he felt no reason to feel such a way; but, I suppose, it's all in the character.
I like how the title of your story describes the feeling you get as you read, not the feeling of the story itself. I also enjoy that you left us [the readers] at a point where we could only imagine what might happen next, and that romance is not and did not play a part in this telling. You displayed that there is more to people, that a quivering boy can be a powerful knight or that a cold woman could be kindhearted.
As I said before, truly an interesting read.

Personally, I have other ships for the two of them, but I have thought of this pairing before. I love how you weaved theist story through past conversations and Latvia's feelings on how he like to write. The characterizations were awesome and I love how you made Belarus seemed to have a heart while most people would characterize her as something truly evil. Besides, even if she is obsessed with her brother, it's kind of cute using her obsession so she can bond with Latvia.
By the way, I love that last line. Leaves much to the reader's imagination. ;)
