Excellent. I’ve always thought John should have shot her once she had the baby, which no one has verified was John’s. She lied and murdered for a living, infidelity would have been a doddle for her.

Though I like the Mary character, I like your version. The show never addressed how Mycroft reacted to the shooting (even if we did get that nice scene in the back yard of their parents' home after SH was well).
