I completely agree with the reviewer 2 reviews below me. Your summary was purposefully misleading to gain more traction. It was a bait and switch.

“England just wasn’t cooperating.” Please, just stop. He isn’t real, he can’t agree or disagree with what you do in the story because he is a fictional character. I have written fanfic before, the characters aren’t real, they can’t make their own decisions. It’s all just excuses to “explain” why you misled the reviewer, why they got completely different ships than they expected.

Getting reviews by promising something completely different, is just a scummy thing to do.

I liked this. I can understand the frustration of the poster below me, but I don't think the author was trying to get more views.

The summary was vague and all the 'major players' were listed. It was humorous and full of yaoi fanservice with no romantic pairings, just hook-ups.

So put a warning for TurkAme and CanUK in the summary. What a bait-and-switch to put "France and America" in the summary, neglect to mention Canada, and just shove it all under the usual FACE filters. Is it because you know you'll get more readers by baiting them? And because you know your "oh so random" "oh England wasn't cooperating, tee hee my 'muses' are just so headstrong!" stories would get even less reviews than they currently do?
