I'm so sorry for not reviewing earlier! I just today found out that you had posted this story.

-The first sentence - my thoughts automatically go to the thought of valentines. It's intriguing. Yes.
-Caramel face - interesting
-Calypso a teacher?
-"She slams the metal lid back onto the jar..." YES YES YES This was perfect. The mild fluff from a paragraph before just ends abruptly and the "slams" is great. GREAT.
-Flicker of a firefly - Love this sort-of alliteration (?).

god, i can't tell you how much i loved this. there is not enough angsty fanfiction out there for onesided percy/calypso, and what there is of this ship is usually pretty lacking in quality, but this fic blew me away. love love love it.

Admittedly though, this was probably Calypso's thought process throughout the Percy Jackson series, although likely slightly different seeing as this is an AU.
And I like Calypso (and Percy/Calypso, to some degree) so I'm glad to see a fic focusing on her!

You know, I always loved Calypso. I get so mad when people hate her and Rachel just because they challenged the Percabeth ship. Like what? They're beautiful people. And this was a beautiful story:)
