I absolutely loved it. No other way to explain how I am feeling right now after reading it. I loved the seriousness but also the comedy which was imputted in there at times. It was written perfectly and I could see this being a episode in the show it was that good. Of course I loved the jecker parts, who doesn't? Lol. Anyway, thanks for writing this, it has fully entertained me for the day :D and I'm sure that I will remember this little story for a long time.

There actually aren't many dinosaurs held in the menagerie. Most of the animals are therapsids, synapsids, crocodilians, giant insects or mammals. Only the Tyrannosaurus, Dromaeosaurus, arboreal theropod and the Dracorex are dinosaurs.
They do boast an impressive collection though; one Coelurosauravus, a Dracorex, one Columbian Mammoth, one Kaprosuchus, one Dromaeosaurus, two Deinonsuchus, one Tyrannosaurus Rex, two Scutosaurus, one arboreal dinosaur, a giant scorpion from the Silurian, two Diictodon, a second mammoth. I ddon't remember them ever acquiring a gorgonopsid though I must say.
Also wouldn't Abby be slightly concerned about the creatures? Surely afterwards she would check on them? Yet she shows no concern for any of them whatsoever.
And the creatures don't live in normal cells with bars but inside huge enclosures and a raised walkway runs between the enclosures. The containment facility has large windows for observing the animals. The giant mammoth is inside the first enclosure alongside the Coelurosauravus.
Plus why shouldn't the Coelurosauravus be in its enclosure? If any creature escapes, the security system detects an unknown presence and puts the entire building into lock down mode. Did they find him eventually? Shouldn't someone tell Abby her coelurosauruvus is missing?
And how would one transport vehicle carry all the creatures? Some of those animals are huge. An entire lorry would be needed simply to transport the Columbian Mammoth! And how did they move the tranquilized animals to the truck? Not even twenty men could move a tranquilized mammoth. Or a Tyrannosaurus rex.

Such a great story, very exciting! Loved the little bit of injured Becker and seeing him and jess get together. Definately one of the best primeval stories I've seen recently.

Looking forward to reading more. Hope the others can save Becker, Jess and the dinosaurs before something drastic happens.
