Astoundingly, despite all of the utterly tragic lives many of the people in this story lead, the person I feel most sorry for is John for having to put up with Sherlock's absolute nonsense.

I should like to give you more reviews as I work my way through the story, because review count seems to be main way of 'keeping score' and this story deserves more 'points.' However, I find what I *want* is to quickly move to the next chapter and keep reading. You capture Sherlock wonderfully; just when we think he's really good, we're reminded that he *uses* people, and has little regard for others' feelings-except maybe as levers to move them in a desired direction. I'm a little frustrated that we haven't heard the details of Harry's case, but I enjoy the trip with Sherlock too much to be very bothered.

I understand the difficulties that real life poses when trying to find time to pursue the things that are really important... like finishing this story. So, no pressure, really. It's just that you left me in tears, and my face is going to be a mess if I end up still crying until the next bit comes out.
Seriously though, I really want to say a huge Thank You for all the time and effort you've put into sharing your talent and inspiration with us.
This is a very enthralling and unusual story that has me totally entangled in the world you've created, and impatiently waiting to find out... What Happens Next! Thanks so much. No pressure, really... but...
