I think I already have it. Soul has multiple personality disorder, soul and eater are headmates that are aware or eachother. I am assuming that they both agree that the body is soul's. I'm well educated on soul's case, given the fact that my faeling has it in a very minor scale, although with about five different headmates. I'm glad that you're writing a story like this, because then I don't feel like I'm the only one who knows about this, and I'm a little less self concious about carrying this information around. you do this story well, and I hope you keep going with it!
