I've just read the whole story today and I loved it! I don't think I've ever read a vk fic with Shizuka as a central character before... and not that many with Ichiru either, really. Your twist on the story is fascinating! It's so well written too, other than some issues with punctuation (and if you're still after a beta then I could probably manage it! Just let me know if you'd like me to.) But the way you're telling the story is spot on. Everyone seems in character - even if they're not exactly the same as canon, they're believable. And the pacing is great. You've definitely left me wanting more - I'm just hoping it won't take too long... hehe... I'll try to be patient anyway. Thank you for sharing this story. It's been a refreshing read. I'm really glad I stumbled across it!

Well this is certainly a very interesting take on things. Saika went more than a little crazy it seems, she really could have managed to kill Shizuka first and dal with Zero later but she couldn't get over the myths and legends she learnt. I wonder though, if Cross is a fangless in this story, and the fangless are the strongest hunters working for the association, isnt her fears baseless? Cross certainly isnt a monster, and Zero seems meek too. I do feel pity for Akihiro, the poor man, he probably should have sent Zero away when Saika first started going crazy. I do like Shizuka though, there is too little of her in the manga and in fics so I enjoy the idea of a proper fic featuring her, perhaps raising the twins and an alliance with Kaname too? Loved the fic so far, I hope you continue it! Please update soon!
