You could just have had Luffy end the battle quickly. Because now that Zoro fought Mihawk, there’s no much left to do and I don’t think the fights Sanji had in canon were that important or defining.
Because since Gin behaved like he did in canon, I struggle with understanding why would Luffy want him on his crew. Even if things had changed, I don’t understand at all why would Luffy want Gin? He’s not that strong or impressive so why ? If you want to expand the crew, bring Nojiko, Vivi and her Duck, some Baroque Works members like Miss Valentine or Goldenweek or Bentham. There’s so many other people they met that would be a better fit that Gin.
And now that he’s behaved like that…

This One Piece fic is 1 of the best I've read in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if you were to tell me you help make the characters. The chapters are short but I was amazed to see how well they kept up with was going on.

So just asking, are you going to use goldenweek's real age in the rewrite or keep her aged down like you did here? According to Oda her cannon age is currently 18 and she was 16 before the time skip.

I hope you change things a little more. Because right now we’re kinda just following canon… I don’t want to criticise too much or be too negative but it’s lazy when authors barely change anything despite Luffy being different or having a different power. Here it’s a time travel story so it’d be even worse
