Well after hearing you plan to rewrite this fiction, well i'm with you. Said i got some idea if you interested.
1. Said after Luffy meeting Zoro and Nami, Luffy decided to teach Six Powers Technique and afterward Haki. Zoro managed to easily learn Armament Haki while Nami learn Observation.
2. Then after Gekko Islands Arc, Nami got motivated to train further like Zoro after a Nightmare involving Arlong which make her decision to tell Luffy everything during the Baratie Arc which was after Sanji save Gin from starvation. Meaning that she's trust Luffy enough and didn't steal Going Merry. Also, you can wrote Nami beat the crap outta Krieg since she's strong as him.
3. Luffy, Nami and the Others march towards Arlong Park to beat the Fishmen pirates and free Cocoyashi Islands. After Luffy defeated Arlong and celebrated, The Straw Hats attack the 16th Branch Marine HQ and retake the treasure that Nezumi stole from Bellmere Garden and afterward Nami put him in the Intensive Care Unit using her Clima-Tact which usopp had develop early after she's request a weapon from him. Which later earn all six of them including Gin their own Bounty, Luffy should get 50 Million, Zoro earn 30 Million, Sanji earn 27, Nami earn 20 million (which due to her beating the hell outta Nezumi), Usopp earn 15 million and Gin bounty increase to 12 Million to 18 Million which make all their bounty to 160 Million Berries all together. (P.S. Of course Sanji is jealous that Zoro bounty is higher than him)

im trying to give benefit of the doubt but it looks like youre actively trying too hard to follow og story line rather than make your own ff storyline.
branch out a bit. dont nerf and undermine your characters just to follow the original plot. its your ff dude, be more free with it.

Wait jewelry Bonnie is a kid? I mean it was theorized by the fans for a long while and usual when fans have a theory about a character the author of one piece usually flips it in it's head to make it something completely different. Like who would have guessed Sanji is a runaway prince?
I figured Jewelry Bonnie was a really old woman who used her devil fruit to become much younger and became a pirate to enjoy a second chance at life. Like maybe she had settled down and had a family that no longer needs her help and so decided to travel the seas. But honestly this is your fanfiction so you can do whatever you like with the characters.

I just hope that when you go to publish the rewrite, you leave THIS version for people like me to read again, simply for nostalgia's sake.
And I also hope that you don't anchor yourself or cling too much to the reviews that readers, many of them will tell you... absurd things just because the new version will be taking a different path than the previous one. Ignore the reviews that are just people hating on your decisions and focus on the ones that offer legitimate criticism for how the story went in the original.
