I always felt sorry for the Bane. He spent a good amount of his life getting played by others who wanted power.
(I don't hold Ares' death against him, either. He probably viewed it as self-defense... and was just fucking crazy, to boot.)

It is a good story and perfect length. I like this POV but I hate the Bane with a passion! He just decided to murder Ares! WHO DOES THAT! I hope you make another story. Maybe Ares POV. Ares is awesome!
