Interesting short. Well written- I enjoyed the action scenes, and the line 'Get off my wife, you Space Marine asshole' made me chuckle.
Can't say I approve of an Astartes not cleansing and purging as hard as he possibly can, but I guess that can be forgiven ;)

Fuck, I did not see that coming at all, despite the blatant 'Humor' tag added to the description. Nice way to lighten up a slow and grey as hell morning.

Did you re-post this story? I thought I saw it before, lower down the list...
Anyway, I like this story. I like your space marines. They're powerful without being Mary-Sueish – as well as being peerless warriors, they're sensible, cautious and intelligent.
The eldar woman's illusion was clever, definitely something I could see eldar doing. I think something similar happened in one of the early Gaunt's Ghosts books.
I do have one correction to make. [quote]five men against a horde of Dark Eldar, that's the stuff of legend. The Chapter owns you for this. I own you for this.[/quote] – I think you mean "owe" rather than "own".

I did not believe that there were happy endings(Not for the Dark Eldar obviously).
