Thank you very much for sharing this sorry with us. I can understand that it will not be updated given that we are in 2022! I should have checked the reviews before reading itin a way. But still, this was a different story to read with some major obstacles to overcome for our dear couple together with more misunderstandings. I guess by now the only thing they can do is elope to Gretna Green? Maybe if Elizabeth gets compromised? Or he might have to give Pemberley away! Not funny, I l know. But I thought Elisabeth was realistic in making him choose for what he actually wants instead of submitting to the course of life…

Unfortunately, getting out of an engagement was practically impossible then especially if the marriage settlement was signed. That held up in Court as though they had stood in front of the Church.
