This story is incredible! It was not hat I was expecting, but instead so much better.
I absolutely loved your focus on hiccups artwork. So much of the movie is scenes of him drawing, and he's really good! Yet I feel that hiccups talent as an artist is lost in the greater purpose of the plot. So good job bringing that and the characters reactions to those drawings in. Probably one of the best aftermath fics I've read. Keep writing!

Whoop Whoop! No Hiccstrid. Astrid just seems like a witch. Until I have actual proof that she liked him before Toothless, I shall forever dislike her. :) can't wait to read the sequel!
