Wow. Quite simply wow. This was stunningly powerful and so very very heart breaking, but also very important. I do believe that we should remember terrible happenings such as the Holocaust, not for the violence or the horror, but for the strength and bravery and incredible courage those people showed who survived and also to honour the memory of those who did not.
I think my favourite part of this was that Enjolras did not tell him what happened and that he never will. Because, despite what us writers wish, some things cannot be explained or even verbalized. Your representation of that, in just one short sentence, was perfect.
I don't think you should continue this, unless you have a very specific idea of where it will go. Leave it at this otherwise, leave it as an emotional moving oneshot detailing the beautiful bond between these friends, these brothers.
