This might not have been the fic I deserved but it was DEFINITELY the one I WANTED! Omfg! This was so damn good! I’d kept telling myself that it was a shame that there hadn’t been a Dresden/Hellboy crossover and well, here it is! I binge read this in a damn day! So. Good. Just SO GOOD!
This read like a Dresden book but still had the flavor of the HB Comics. They both get ass deep in alligators and find something to pull out of their butt to save the day. These two just *chef kiss* perfection together. I’m glad I went on a binge and read the comics because I got all of the references. Just yaaaaasss!

Great story that really captures the essence and style of the scource material. The only complaint I have is Dresden is repeatedly said to be 6 feet tall but in the books is 6'9.

Hahaha! I just finished your story and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful read. Funny, smart and true to the characters. You have an easy style that emulates the Dresden files nicely while staying its own thing and everyone was nice and in character, and even when they weren't they where consistent wich is not an easy thing to pull off.
I loved this and thank you for making it. The Hellboy Dresden team-up is such a niche idea but you've pulled it off in the best way possible.
I wish Hellboy had more to do in the earlier chapters, it sort of feels like he's just wandering about and maybe more time with the BPRD as a whole, but that's just me personally.

While I've never had the time to actually sit down and read a Harry Dresden book, I work at a library and have sort of absorbed the basic idea of the series from all the shelving I've done. All that to say this is my first "real" experience reading anything with Dresden outside of Wikipedia articles, and I'm loving it.
Your narrative style catches the attention right off the bat and keeps the reader interested both in Harry and in Hellboy.
Sometimes a narrative style can feel at first like the stiff interactions of new acquaintances, or like the warm greetings of an old friend who knew you were coming and made tea.
Yours feels like the warmth and familiarity of a friend who drops down onto your couch out of nowhere, throws an arm around your shoulder, and says "who wants to go on an adventure?"
