Since I tore through 'Drown' all at once instead of chapter by chapter, I'm going to seize this opportunity to comment on how much I liked the scene where Loki was addressing Jane's captors. The way he told them, with complete certainty, that Thor would love Jane just as much no matter what they did to her, as long as she was still alive, was good in so many ways. It worked to neutralise their threats which would hopefully keep Jane safer. It showed that his belief in the strength of Thor's love. And the last thing that he said, stressing it, that even if she were raped, 'it would not make her nothing' really came across well and if I hadn't already liked the character, having him say that would have really scored him points with me.

I love it. I love the idea that she has an inner-Darcy giving her sarcastic nudges, and how there's this sort of underlying humour to this (I loled so hard at "fond of living" XD). I can't wait to see how Loki will react to Jane- they tend to have great relationships in the other fics I've read. I wish I could write as well as you uwu

Very nice tie-in to Drown. Poor Jane. I hope Loki does rescue her, but I also kind of want Jane to rescues herself. Or maybe they can somehow rescue each other. I'm not sure why but I really want Loki and Jane to like each other. Mutual rescuing would be a nice way to initially bond. Looking very much forward to new chapters. As always thank you for the excellent read!

Nice aside here. The difference between wisdom and intelligence is a fascinating conundrum :) Also interesting is the idea that teleportation from place to place on the same planet is just as detectable as the Bifrost, which punches through dimensions and can tear the target world apart if it's left on too long. I'd love to see Jane's reaction when she figures that last bit out. Here's hoping Cap can save everyone on his own before Tony and Thor get there! Steve might just have the wisdom *and* intelligence to know what's going on.

Oh man, what have you done, Jane? Things keep getting tougher and tougher and there's no respite for anyone. Least of all to Loki. It seems like Jane is going through her own problems now and this will mess everything even more. I wonder if Tony and Thor will get there soon enough...
