7250 Words… that’s quite a lot compared to your recent chapters, but I have no complain about it. I guess this is why you took almost two weeks for this chapter. And it seems that you’re following IDBH in naming a chapter with the word ‘Reckoning’, not accusing you for being a copycat though. Anyway, let’s just review this and close off this D&D Act now.
1a. Hm… while Myriad Arrows gives a Heavy Physical Damage on all enemies 1-3X while Arrow Rain is fixed on 2X. How much damage Runious Arrow creates in-game?
b. So… what kind of card is it actually?
c. And we got Terumi-related themes from BlazBlue as well, it seems that his Jokes has gone full force at this point.
2a. Somehow, I think “Quattro-Storm Blast” is a better name for this.
b. Er… Extinction Wave is Almighty, isn’t it?
c. Well, Dylan, at least there’s no Road Rollers this time around, figurative or not.
d. Kotone saying Control… somehow, I feel that it’s a foreshadowing to P5 since that Yaldabaoth is the (Fake) God of Control.
e. Hm… Dylan, is Diarahan alone is not enough for your current condition to the point you had to use Mediarahan all for yourself?
f. Okay, Black Ooze *cough*Nanako’s Chocolate*, Kotone now is officially lost his humanity.
g. Finally, the “Hiraishingiri” Lampshade. To be honest, Dylan, I thought you called it Hiraisingeki simply because it sounds more exciting.
3a. And… Kotone got overwhelmed by his own power, figures. As Alonso puts it in Monza last year, “Karma”.
b. Okay, now I’m really suspicious that this Yaldabaoth is the same one with the P5 one. River in the Desert tells it all.
c. Ah… Lucifer, you know how many ironies in this in hindsight. Did you bring Helel too, Dylan?
4a. And we get Brianna/Kassidy/Scarlet. Now that’s completely unexpected. Did she jump from the latest IDBH chapter after encountering Agatha or something? I mean literally jumping the universes.
b. Schwarzer Lion-Kaiser… Black Lion Emperor… I take it that it’s not an actual Fictional/Historical/Legendary/Mythological figure, isn’t it?
c. Spear of Destiny… somehow, I think it’s the Holy Lance, Spear of Longinus.
d. Pfft, I can imagine an in-universe Tv Show about Frost Ace at this point, it will be fun.
5a. Hakaishin… it seems that the Terumi joke is back. But this time, instead of Kazuma Hazama Terumi ( Hakumen) Susano’o, we got Mitsuo Kotone Zane Yaldabaoth.
b. Err… can’t you give supporting spells without attacking Yaldabaoth directly, Brianna?
c. I know you might not be that Yaldabaoth, as small as the possibility is at this point, *deadpan* But some of Ray of Control and Sin Spells would be handful for you, mwahahahahaha…
d. Oh, a Wild Card of SoT’s Personas, the same kind like what Charles usually has, nice. Don’t take my opinion as a bad thing though.
e. And now DIO too? Too bad you’re sticking to the English script on that part, along with Dylan not screaming Oraoraora…
f. Dies Irae… a Latin hymn formerly sung in a Mass for the dead. Something that Camael has for his Stand in Vanishing Act to drown the Phantom Thieves into Illusionary Visions (sorry for saying spoilers)… is this also a foreshadowing too?
g. Maybe you got a Paralyzed Status Ailment from Izanagi no Ookami. Sorry, too much playing Tokyo Xanadu here.
But it turns out that Yaldabaoth’s demise is only the end of a battle, not the end of the entire war. For the next chapter, I think skipping it entirely is not a good thing. I would like to see it will be two chapters is there’s any actual final fight with Albert or something which should take a chapter alone. If not, then one chapter alone is enough. As for Kotone, i indeed think the manipulating plot works much better, giving him some parallel to Hashimoto. Also, i think the actual Edmond Dantes (or at least with his FGO counterpart) will be disgusted at Kotone. Well, I guess that’s everything for today. Keep Update!

Good: Huge, huge props on the fight with Lawrence. Good detail, but most importantly great job of making this fight have a sobering end, with Lawrence asking for help forchis family. And that last paragraph of the section was a perfect way to finish this section. Good job! And the plot thickens eith all these bad guys, i wonder who’s REALLY in charge?
Improvements: Uhh… i don’t think footsteps are cause for alarm? Adding something with those footsteps would make more sense to be worried about.

Good: Ouch, poor charles! Good job on conveying the pain/brutality of the torture he’s going through. Haha and yay, the Takeru/Laura ship continues! Maybe a bit too soon to tell her “I love you” Takeru, but ah well, teenagers. Also, i do like the whole “rescue chase” subplot, it does come up pretty quickly but it totally makes sense that the Seekers of Truth would want to go rescue anyone caught by Sergei’s gang. Also, just to make sure i understand - was Sergei’s idea that he’d get Dylan to the handoff to rescue Charles, and then goad him into doing something dumb? (Note - I see from the AN of the next chapter why you did this. But, in the future, I think it’d be better to not lead us into thinking there’d be a rescue mission when there isn’t gonna be one!)
Improvements: Although I'm a fan of the Takeru/kaura ship, as usual I felt the build-up to it was too fast, but it wasn’t bad. Overall good job!

To be honest, I didn’t expect this chapter now, but I have no complain… moving on. The title is very spot on though.
1a. Hm, there are 7 named Senran Kagura characters here, but how many the actual numbers of SK Characters and X-LAWS here?
b. Ah… Sanjiegun. Nice weapon, Jason.
c. Wait, I thought Kotone manifested the Fortress of Hatred in the Shopping District in the middle of Dark Hour, not Mayonaka.
2a. Yuu, I doubt he is sincere in his offer, AT ALL. Then again, if he’s really defeated, how could he do that?
b. Sighs… I guess the numbers is too much for everyone helping Dylan here. Oh, the Barrrier’s the reason, not the other Shadows. Though, how could those kind of people create barriers to begin with?

5a. Jarnbjorn, Iron Bear, that’s a pretty good name of your weapon, Dylan… oh, that’s actually Thor’s axe, sorry.
b. Monochrome Forest, I guess everything is in either gray scale or completely black and white. Either way, this could represent Kotone’s mindset which is now very very black and white, and there’s no gray of reality in his mindset, at all.
c. Hm…. I doubt you can even get starved here, Dylan. Considering that in-game, there are victims who can be trapped for weeks at most.
d. Nah, Dylan, I think even without the whole character development, Sasuke’s revenge is both tamer and more justified than Kotone’s. Like Seriously.
e. Demonstrate… emphasis on “Demon”.
f. Er… Dylan, have you tried to cut those trees away, preferably aiming it at Kotone’s head? maybe that could impede any of his action without transforming himself.
g. And that’s not an Embodiment of Justice nor even Revenge. That’s Themis and Dike (Justice) along with Nemesis (Revenge), you know? You, Kotone, on the other hand, is the embodiment of Betrayal, Imbecility, Hypocrisy, or all of them.

Good: Good points made by Aika about Dylan’s campaign! I like where this is going, cuz it seems like the idea’s that in order to win the election, Dylan needs to finally and truly overcome all the demons in his past, and this is an AWESOME way to make him want to do that! And yeeess, good, continue the Takeru/Laura ship… (I’m not sure why I like this ship, but I do!)
Improvements: Unfortunately, the return of the long improvements section...
Oh christ Dylan, violence! I still have a problem with these parts of Dylan being very violent… but my perspective has shifted now. At this point, you DEFINITELY have it down where people immediately call Dylan out when he does these things (even Dylan thinks when he does it that it's pretty violent), and make no mistake - that is AWESOME. I love that! My problem now is that he STILL has yet to fully learn to stop! He was doing so well for many chapters, but now it seems like he’s regressing. And I know Dylan’s supposed to be a flawed character, but as someone reading this, I can’t help but feel massive deja vu as this happens once more. At this point, it’s just repetitive… and that’s not good imo.
On a lighter note: This is more funny than anything, but for the part about the black limo and “there wasn’t even an explanation” why it’s there, I think you should avoid phrasing it like that in the future… the way it is now, it sounds like even YOU don’t know why it’s there! (Even though in the very next few paragraphs we know that there IS a reason for it being there). (Also, is the Yu fainting bit something from the game that I don’t know about?)

Good: Oh man, I can smell this Takeru/Laura ship from just that passage. All around, this was just a good chapter, good progression, good showing of character traits (and flaws; normally dylan breaking his word would annoy me, but it was done very well this time since he immediately realized his mistake, and he was immediately called out on it by the Seekers of Truth). And how he immediately has repercussions with the Tussian mobsters showing up, AND Yukiko calling the Seekers of Truth… this is an AWESOME set up for a big showdown, and I really enjoyed it, well done!

Okay, there is nothing witty i can said about this chapter, so... let’s start the bumpy ride, cue Sen no Kiseki II’s Phantasmal Blaze.
1a. *sighs* As i said for so many times, whether they treat someone good or bad depends not of what they are on the surface, but rather who they are underneath. You and Mitsuo had both proves that you are inhuman underneath, hence why they are shunning you.
b. I’m glad that everyone has been hiatused before this, since if it’s not, then we will get a similar situation with Fuuka on June 2009 and who knows how many people are trapped in this... ‘Tartarus’.
c. To be honest, i was thinking that this place feels better to be named in the same way as Tartarus. In this case, it’s Styx, the Personification of Hatred.

b. To be honest, that’s kinda hypocritical. Since Kotone treats the same with the Tenmyouji-Wae Alliance, and to a lesser extent, X-LAWS too...

*yawn* Okay, i admit it, i am quite sleepy and it's only because i decided to review this in tandem with a stream i watch since 1AM to 5. So yeah, you know what i mean right? Anyway... let's dissect this chapter.
1a. Ah... welcome back SEES, or rather... the Shadow Operatives, inlcuding Labrys here. Ah... it's so nice to see you back.
b. Wait, Minato? I though you're back to the seal already.
c. Haha, Junpei, can i ask which one has a better service, this hotel or the Kirijou Vacation House in Yakushima?
d. To be honest, the question is what is that device they stole amd why they are keeping it in the first place? If it's really Shadow-related, then S.O. should be the one keeping it safe.
e. Yeah, Minako, please forgive me, but i must admit that i am worrying your pregnancy.
2a. Ah... i'm glad the student body are respecting the SoT regarding anything Shadow Business-related.
b. I was secretly hoping that Charles will help anything beyond some cyber stuff, but... oh well...
c. Hmhm, to be honest, being involved in Shadow Business is not different to be involved with military no matter in which era you are, where the threat of death in battle and mortal perils are common on those jobs.
3a. Yeah, Yuu, hiatusing them will leaves more questions than necessary and it's bad... but i'm glad Igor agree with such decision. Well, Yuu, it looks like you have a long explanation to do once everything's done and dusted.

Good: Great scene with Yu and Dylan at the start! Honestly, every scene in here was really cute or just pleasant (at least interesting in the case of mitch and dojima’s scene), no complaints. This was great!

Good: Oh man, another Blake-like family?! This isn’t going to end well… And as a whole, dude, i’m loving this chapter. It’s got some fantastic dialogue, the fights are fun, and i love seeing what’s happening in the inaba police department with their re-org. Hey and cool to bring in some SMT protags into the story as well!
Improvements: As always there’s so much creativity here… but it’s hard for me to remember who’s who since there are so many people being introduced so quickly. And I think this chapter ran a bit too long, could've been cut into separate chunks.

And no more secrets indeed, I completely approve! And hell yeah wirh Yu learning he’s not alone b/c of Nanako/Dojima, AND mostly Dylan fighting Sho, that’s rad! And then Yukiko bringing up that it would’ve been easier for Sho to kill them, and Dylan saying a thought on why he didn't… wow, this is just the chapter of you resolving all of my complaints. Good freaking job!

Good: Yu and Dylan finishing their fight! And Dylan again telling Yu how it is in terms of getting him out of his funk! Man, it’s awesome to see that. Ans great idea to have Edmund be a new boss!
Improvements: I wish the fight went a bit longer… more details, as usual. And if Dylan has dragged Yu out of his despondency in the first part, then I wish he’d stay that way! A bit frustrating to see Yu say that Dylan had snapped him out of his funk, only to show that he actually hadn’t a few passages later.
Good: Yu and Dylan finishing their fight! And Dylan again telling Yu how it is in terms of getting him out of his funk! Man, it’s awesome to see that. Ans great idea to have Edmund be a new boss!

Ah... sorry for taking a long time, i had to finish many business with other fanfics first. Oh well, time to review! :D
1. Ah... breakfast with bacon and sunny eggs... typical for the Doujima houseold.
2. To be honest, killing someone is false in any angle, even if there's a war and/or a major and justified personal/public reason behind it.
3. Er... which Outside Help you meant, Doujima? The Shadow Operatives? the CIA and/or FBI? The Adachis?
4. Er... i know it's a secret spot, but can you tell us the readers where it is?
5. Dark Hour alone is bad enough, Mayonaka alone is bad enough. Now both of them at once, ugh... it's IDBH's chapter 199 and 200-1 all over again...
6. True... even if death is the least of the answer, it's the best for everyone BUT Kotone in this case.
7. Hm... that wonders me, which one have a greater power, Demogorgon or the Crimson Room itself?
8. So failing to stop Kotone will essentially turning Persona into as dark as Shin Megami Tensei? Ugh... that's a bad news when you think about it.

1. Hm… to be honest, I have no idea of the correlation of the title, “Beyond the Gate of Misery” to the chapter itself, unless if this gate referring to Kotone’s action and what’s beyond is in the next chapters.
2. Hm… it seems that Theodore Roosevelt High School is a real-life on in Bronx. Still, I thought being named after a President will give good implications, but it turns out that it has so many bad implications in its history and it got closed in 2004.
3. Wait, summoning Persona? No Evoker? No Dark Hour? No Other World? Oh… CRAP! This is going to be suck… so bad. Still, does that mean now Personas are public knowledge?
4. Sighs… regardless, this is much much worse than those cannonboost tank rampage I usually done in GTA.
5. Oh well, at least he’s not quoting Lu Bu, “Can anyone provide me with a decent challenge?”.

Good: Good to see how much detail you put into this section with all the couples! And here we go, starting the arc with rescuing Marie!
Improvements: Although I appreciate the detail, some of it could’ve been left out for pacing. And it’s never specified where Takeru and Travis are that they need to find a fallout shelter to hide from the cold! Where are they?
