This is the first and only post S9 finale piece I have been able to read. I LOVE and appreciate that is started after he gets out of jail. Like you I feel more positive than last season post finale because despite their desperate circumstances at least their love and devotion to each other is in tact! I love how you illustrate that through this story. They are a team, while he was in and especially now that he's out and even though not everything is resolved they know they will work it out together. Love that you showed just a little bit him catching up with each of the priorities in his life and family. The tenderness is fantastic and the love perfect down to the little details like unhealthy snacks...for just a few days at least! :)

Thank you for writing this! You know we'll never get the pleasure of actually seeing it, LOL, which is okay! But still, having the comfort of knowing they'll be together again is a lovely woobie ("woobie" is a phrase from Mr. Mom, and represents a child's security blanket. Not sure how well distributed the movie was...great film nevertheless!)
I'm there with you: Boy Scout Booth is going to have a tough time in federal prison, his only saving grace is that he's Max Keenan's "son".
But the warmth and comfort of returning home...that's delicious - to again be reconnected with his baby girl and his boy...The Universe has written quite a Greek tragedy for Seeley Booth, hasn't it? Alas, nothing that Brennan in a nightie won't help to ameliorate :).
