Poor Becker! That must have been so hard for him to watch this shady Garrett drooling all over Jess!
Love how quick witted Jess was at the bar! And happ, happy to see the team preventing the kidnapping of Jess! Yikes evil, evil Garrett!
Now I'm curious to see if that party at midnight was just made up to lure Jess away or if there is really some nocturnal event organised by Shield technology...hmmmm smells like Hydra technology to me...;-)

Jess is brilliant undercover and Becker is brilliant to defend her honour but oh! Poor Jess! I'm glad she has the team looking out for her, though, and I'm so very much looking forward to the next chapter!

Heee, I love them being undercover!
I had to smile at Lester's warning to Jess, too - he's such a Dad! Well, where she's concerned! Love Becker's reaction to the "new" (temporary) Jess, too - hope he makes sure our girl is safe and well protected!
Loving that it's going to be a long story, too - looking forward to saving it onto my Kindle when it's complete to re-read over and over :)

Oh, I just realized that I haven't sent you a review for chapter 5...
It doesn't help to read most of ff on my phone.
"So, even "undercover" you're still coordinating?" must be my absolute favourite phrase in this chapter. And it's followed by some awesome, lovely and very, very awkward Becker-flirting!

You need to introduce some prehistoric creatures. I'd like to at least see Rex or the Diictodons in the menagerie. Maybe the team could get in trouble and Abby could summon Rex to help them or the mammoth could charge in.

I'm hoping we'll see some creatures soon. There are plenty to choose from. If there is an anomaly or more than one anomaly, creatures from other historical periods are bound to wander through.
The team have already faced a fair share of beastly opponents:a Kaprosuchus terrorizing fishing docks, a mammoth holding up traffic on the M25, Embolotherium at a motor convention, pterosaurs swarming a golf course and a giant Tyrannosaurus rampaging in Central London.
Of course there's also the futuristic animals; evolved predatory bats stalking visitors at a zoo, futuristic seals dragging boaters to their doom plus a highly intelligent future primate with camouflaging abilities haunting an old house, giant flying ants preying on citizens to huge burrowing insects snatching homeowners.

I'm sorry for reviewing so late! I had a lot of fun reading this chapter! Lester's scene was priceless! And I love how you dress the team members to blend in!
I'm curious to see what Jess will wear and if she changes her usual style! Can't wait to see more of their mingling with the tech crowd...
