not trying to bash your fanfic (which is good by the way) but i think even without the introduction of your oc it wouldnt affect the fanfic much. Just stating my opinion, but explaining your OC history and personality in the author notes just makes it somehow... unpleasant for me. You should expand your OC more in another fanfic or else 1st time readers might feel a bit awkward reading course, that might just be me.
