Oh, wow. Now I'm really getting worried if I'll make it to the second round, now that I've read this. :) Your description of the setting and events was very vivid, and all the characters were brought to life and then some. The dialogue was fantastic and advanced the plot along well. I think I may like your dialogue for Aer better than my own... :/ I was originally going to emphasize the "Caretaker is an untrustworthy jerkface" idea more in mine, and now that I've seen how well you pulled it off via dialogue, I very much regret not emphasizing it. And the ending: Thank you so very much for giving Aer a fate much better than many of the others in this tournament! If only I had done the same... Overall, this was an excellent depiction of the first round. If I do not proceed to the second round, at least I will know that I had a very worthy opponent. :D May the Force be with both of us.
