It was a big step for Bella to apologize to Angela, but Angela could have sought out Bella, too, to explain and apologize for lying. Not much of a friendship after all. And yes, west side Bella is more perceptive. I like how she sees what Jasper needs and acts on it.

I'm so glad Bella was willing to offer a second chance to Angela, even if they are never as close as they were before. Living with that animosity would eat away at them if they didn't. And, Bella's understanding with Jasper was lovely.

Wow...another update!
Love watching the development of Bella's character...from an entitled brat to a caring, compassionate young lady who is like the glue that holds them all together. Being there for Jasper as reality hits him hard, encouraging Alice to believe in giving people multiple chances, and apologizing to Angela were great moments.

Of course, since this story is BPOV, we didn't know the depth of Ben's feelings for Angela. She was another casualty in this tragedy. And I agreed with Edward that Bella's words to Angela on the day of the funeral were too much. Cruel actually. I'm glad that amends have been made.
