I have always been a huge fan of this pairing, but it is so difficult to find it done realistically and without it being ruined by her being de-aged.
This has the best potential I have seen in probably years.
I will caution you though, there needs to be much more distrust and reluctance on Harry's part before he even begins to trust her and even consider her much less a lover. For realisms sake this needs to be an incredibly slowburn romance.
He needs to realize just because there are no wards doesn't mean that automatically makes everything Dumbledore says untrue and his sworn enemy. Manipulative he may be but he is powerful and cunning and despite his greater good garbage he is no dark Lord and has no sinister aspirations, he merely believes his way is the right way, if he is broken of that notion he would be a better person. What I'm saying is, Harry need not make an enemy of dumbledore he has enough as it is.
One last thing, please don't have Hermione turn on him, if he presents her with all the facts and is open and honest with her, I don't see her leaving his side, besides Hedwig and Dobby, she is his most steadfast friend. Also don't pair her with the walking garbage disposal, make her a lesbian, just don't put her with Ron.
