It's been like a year since you last updated but I recently started reading and fell in love with this super adorable story! Please pick this up again! I want to see what happens in high school. And I need more Jeff/Annie to keep me going as we wait for #andamovie. I love the idea that they were always friends so please please please, start writing again. I read the new chapter this morning and I've been thinking about it all day. More precisely, I've been thinking about whether Jeff and Shirley deserved the A on their assignment. Is using CO2 cartridges to increase decomposition rates a thing people do? Wouldn't stirring the compost every other day be sufficient to prevent anaerobic conditions? As long as O2 doesn't become limiting (drops below 10%), its concentration doesn't really impact decomposition rates. It's an interesting idea for 7th/8th graders though.
Anway, I really love your fic. I'm constantly wondering whether Annie and Vaughn as well as Jeff and Britta will get together eventually. Your Jeff hasn't seemed particularly interested in dating Britta in the past few chapters - and Annie doesn't seem into Vaughn, so I guess not? Can't wait to find out!

Oh my gosh, one of the best AU's i've read yet! Love the slow character developments. Can't wait to see what happens when Jeff and Annie starting having larger crushes on Britta and Troy (respectively) and how Jeff and Annie react to each other maybe not spending as much time together.
