Another story that is worth gold but was abandoned. You who do not update, like to break my heart. I enjoyed this so much. You made me love Ancalagon! He was my nemesis because he was always more powerful than Smaug ! Update soon, I've never been as interested in a story as I am now. Yes ... I came 3 years later. What happened to Smaug and his chilhood friend? ;-; ohhh i'm crying why don't you update? I'm sad noww

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing story. Please tell me it's still a WiP because the last update was well over 2 years, and I am enjoying it thoroughly. Excellent job :)
If I have a minor criticism is that time skips are simply three periods or three dots, I would really like to have a slightly clearer indication. I'm not sure if that's possible as I'm surprisingly new to this website, but it would be nice to have.
Also uh, apparently this is posted as a review. I'm not really sure how to post a "comment" because while reading a lot, I have not much experience in reviewing a story, let alone an incredible-but-incomplete one. Hope I'm not breaking any rules

I don't think Sauron ever had a problem with the name Mairon. 'Sauron' was the name his enemies gave him, if anything he'd find it more insulting. The swearing also seems a bit OOC.
