First of all, amazing job with details! (You're lowering my self confidence, here)
Second, i see where this is going...
"Don't let go James, don't let go." - Maddie hysterically crying on a plank of wood obviously large enough for the two of them, and somehow not sinking before she got there because any dress from the whatever time period that happened was really heavy already and a flimsy life vest like the ones they gave out wouldn't have been able to hold her above water, plus her limbs would get tired from the effort of swimming before she even got to the wood. There were thoisands of other people out there, not one of them made it onto the door before Rose/Maddie got there? Just trying to point out a shit ton of obvious things that could have helped them.
Third, good job combining two obsessions! ;) update soon!
