Oof. Why did you do that to me?! Also what happened to him?

Finally found your writing, this is the first I have read, I like it a lot, you have a very immediate way of bringing the reader to your words, I feel the anguish and pain of your character. Your descriptions of the tears wanting to come are excellent...

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful story my dear. Really heartfelt and so incredibly sad. I liked the view on their friendship. It's original and new. Well done :)

Hello there, my dear! Very long time no see and I apologize for that. A mixture of Tumblr, work, and starting on university hunting has taken a lot of my time, as well as falling head first into a new fandom.
Anyway...this was beautiful as always. For a large amount of it, I thought the person Combeferre was greiving for was Enjolras, but I was pleasantly surprised to realize otherwise (if that doesn't sound too macabre). I think it is often overlooked how deep the relationship between Combeferre and Joly was, or at least might have been, but here you captured it perfectly.
Another thing I loved was that you didn't actually tell us what happened to him. It leaves the pain to be just as great while also bringing in the sentiment of how the manner of death doesn't matter; it is still a terrible event whether it was a random stabbing or a car crash or a disease.
Also, just as a small note, I liked how your prose was a little more trimmed down. It made reading far easier whilst still retaining the passion and emotion always so present in your story. One of my favourite of yours so far!
Wonderfully done as ever and it was a pleasure to read.
