for A Father's Pride

I'm sorry if you already know this, or if this upsets you, but I thought I should let you know that this whole story has been uploaded to another website. They have credited you and even linked to this story, but it just seems in poor taste to me because it looks like they haven't contacted any of the creators of the stories they uploaded. I'm sorry again if you already know about this secondary upload, or if I have upset you! The upload can be found here: /details/savefanfiction-10549483-A_Father_s_Pride-Lady_of_Myth_and_Legends/page/n5/mode/2up

This is lovely. I like your idea that Stoick is proud to be Hiccup’s father. You can see it in his Pride of Berk remarks, but I think Stoick’s never said it because he never needed to. I love Stoick stating the Hiccup will defend his people “with cunning and wit.” While it’s amazing that Hiccup forged peace between Vikings and dragons, there’s a lot more to him than that. He’s courageous and fierce and will fight and protect to his last breath.

“He was Stoick’s son. His pride.” This is one of many lines that moved me. I can’t list them all. But, “This day will belong to him...him and that glorious drake of his.” It’s beautiful. Thank you for this.

I'm defenetly not crying (yes I am).

I liked this, it feels like a... closure, to say the least. Like deep down, I always known that Stoick was in presence in that scene.

I realky like this and agree that he wouldn't have any hard feelings towards Toothless. He did what he promised to do as a father and that was to protect his family from all harm. It feels off though for some reason that I can't put my finger on. Like, I feel the emotions and pride of Stoick but far more towards the end then throughout the fic though if that's what you aimed for, you did achieve that because in that ending you can really feel the pride he has for Hiccup and the peace of mind knowing it'll be ok.
Either way, I think it's a really interesting perceptive coming from Stoick's point of view. To see he's at peace.

All I can say is that how dare you, how dare you rip my heart and soul to pieces. The angst and feels is too much. However I must say I loved your view on Stoick's character, even though he is a tough Viking chief he still loves his family.
