I think by Day 20 I was blubbering like a baby, and I think half way through I said that it is hurting too much, but I pushed on and this is was the safest but most beautifully written piece that I have ever read, it was simple but the impact it had was immense and I have cried this much. Absolutely magnificent writing.

This was fantastic - just finished it a second time. Utterly heart-wrenching, but fantastic. Is it bad I was hoping for a Coulson reunion towards the end, a chance for Coulson to fully see what losing Gemma had done to Fitz... or Fitz being called to work with Coulson one last time and barely being recognised... I don't know, otherwise this was literally PERFECT, as in hands down the most emotional fic I've ever read - I need to find something happier to read now aha! Well done, the perfect pathos! :) ... So tragic :( Poor Fitz, poor Simmons - poor Skye/Ward, you had to put that in there aha, make it even more gut wrenching (In case you can't tell I LOVE this fic, even if it is gut wrenching - makes me feel better about the sad Fitzsimmons scenes in the series atm - at least it's not as gutbusting as this!) Once again, well done - superb stuff! *cries*

This was truly beautiful. I don't normally read non-humorous FanFiction more than once, but I've read this one more than three times. It's incredibly well-written, well thought out, and the ending fits (no pun intended) perfectly. All the things Fitz does seem so Fitz-like and realistic... It's so tragic, I don't really know why I love it so much, being the kind of person I am, but I just love this story.

Pardon my French, but that was beautiful and heartbreaking and I'm crying into my jumper sleeve and can't stop.
Oh and P.S. I love that song. So much better than Tom Lehrer's version of the periodic table. I used it to memorise the periodic table when I was seven.
