It was alright, but it could have been a little more accurate. America wasn't discovered at the time of the story's setting and fortunato insulted Montesor not steal his girlfriend. The story, no matter how confusing, never mentioned anything like that. Also in my English class a few days ago did a writing quiz where we had to write what we think fortunato did to deserve punishment, to explain the narrators devolment of his murder plot and how it followed after he sealed the wall
