Considering Angron was supposed to represent the Emperor's empathy, I think you did a superb job. 12/10 chapter.

I just realized... if this is the last Of Fabius Bile clones... doesn't that mean Fulgrim killed the one in commoragh...
does that mean we get to see Fulgrim in Cadia?!

Just reread this and realized I never commented. You’ve made the Son of Horus in me freeze this chapter. When I first read the Eldest reveal I remember vividly saying “Oh hell no” out of sheer shock. I fell bad for Loken being so close to gaining his vengeance against Bile after ten thousand years only to be stopped by the mauled and defiled corpse of his dead father; a fate too cruel for one such as him. Dark Angels have been very active in these last few engagements from the assault on the Thousand Sons Homeworld, and Cypher’s journey to Terra and now being one of the architects Cadia’s fall. I think they must have some grander scheme in the works and these other theaters may be distractions to hide their true agenda. Though I may be going too deep into the Crystal Labyrinth with that theory.

Didn’t see that happening. Did Sanguinius true banishment release Horus’ soul back into the galaxy? Would be crazy to see Horus Lupercal regain his own body back from Eldest Horus.

HOW does this story keep getting more and more exciting with every update? i've never read a story like this where every chapter gives me at least five times where all i can think is "OH SHIT!" or "HOLY FUCK THAT'S COOL!"
you sir are a genius.

Well Cadian is going to need some massive Big Damn Heroes moments to survive this one. Though it can hopefully rely on chaos messing with each other in some way.

Hot damn, I was not expecting such a twist to come up!
The reveal of who the Eldest truly was, along with everything else occurring in the Acadia system makes for an entertaining opening!
Will we see a parallel with canon, Trazyn making a timely appearance to aid the Inperium with a common goal of disbarring Chaos? Or will the system truly fall, and leave a wide new open gate for all the Traitors to rush out and unleash true hell upon Mankind?

How dare you do that to in order: Creed, Cain, Rouboutian Heresy Horus, and Loken.
The line about having more standards than Game of thrones made me laugh.

So we have the Black Templars and the Crimson Fists, with certainly Dorn himself on its way to Cadia.
There's also one-ninth of the Dark Angels Legion...the servants of Tzeentch are truly busy for the Times of Ending, aren't they?
And obviously there's Fabius Bile and the Black Legion, because an assault on Cadia without them wouldn't be fun at all.
On the other side, it's the Iron Warriors, the Imperial Guard and the Imperial Navy plus of course the Hero of the Imperium Commissar Ciaphas Cain.
Yep, I have a feeling Cadian Apocalypse is not a weak word...
