I visualize them living outside Henderson, NV, about 20 miles from Vegas. Its where the Hoover Dam is, and near Lake Mead. There are times during the year that the high desert can become cracked and dry. Life can be desolate out there, and I feel as if I knew some of these people when I lived in Lake Havasu City during the late 70’s/ early 80’s. Lake Havasu City lies approx.150 mi or 2 1/2 hrs from Vegas going toward Phoenix, on the AZ/CA border. Its one of the hottest places in the US.
Great chapter. I wonder how Edward will handle knowing Bellas secret, should she ever tell him? That she killed her moms BF who was trying to rape her! Thats a huge burden to bear for Bella.
