This was a lovely, lovely story. I felt like I was in the wilderness with them. Thank you so much for writing it.

Staying in a cabin with an outside toilet and you can shower in the neighbor's cabin, that's a big NO!
This was boring at times. Was Edward supposed to be Tarzan or something

This story unfolded in such a unique way, and the characters were a joy to read - except for Phil and Renee. What sick people! Bella living life to the fullest without them is the best revenge. Thank you for sharing this story with us. :-)

OH MY ok so I read a few chaps while on a plane this weekend, obviously couldn't review, so unfortunately I'm gonna lump a few thoughts together. As a writer I feel terrible I'm not reviewing each one I read. I'm so sorry.

First of all... her sureness that she wants to be with Edward no matter how has got me feeling all the feels. She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to defend herself against anyone that might question her (although everyone seems on board).

Secondly, OMG when he disappeared. Like, I don't even know. The way you wrote everyone's texts to make sure she knew he was okay was anxious to follow at first, not knowing what had happened to him. But then you realize so many people love Edward, and HE loves HER so much that he did all he could to get word to her, oh my heart was racing. And THANK YOU for not dragging it out for five chapters. I truly appreciate you coming to a swift end of that.

Third: Grandpa is a long hair yoga hippie? Was not expecting that. Don't know if I missed something, but over the phone he just sounded like a baking cinnamon roll and weather expert grandpa. So well done to make me raise my eyebrows!

Anyway, completely still enjoying and kudos to you for an original, well-written story!
xoxo PB

Thank you very much for writing such a wonderful piece, ive never been the kind of nature loving girl and never interested in going to Alaska but this fiv may’ have changed my mind, sadly I have no Edward to go with me but now is a little dream of mine

Just binged this story after multiple people told me it was a must-read and couldn’t believe I hadn’t read it yet.

It was fantastic. So different and unique, so sweet and beautiful!

What a terrible and traumatic experience that would be. But I'm confused about Edward feeling guilty. Wouldn't a rabies infection eventually kill the animal and likely infect others before then, who would also die? Would it not be seen as necessary to kill that animal, both for the safety of others AND to minimize the suffering of the infected one? The way he had to do it was awful, but was not the act itself always necessary? Does he not see it that way?

You built the tension beautifully (though I'm glad you resolved it quickly as well!)

They're so sweet but also, how has she not jumped this man already?
