Aww this made me cry. At first I thought Phil had died (which caused extreme sobbing on my part) but when he came back it was beautiful. I'm unsure if when he did come back it was a dream or not (i.e. he was still counting) but either way this story was deeply moving. Honestly, your descriptions are incredibly emotional. You are an amazing writer. :)
