I have read Champion again, and again I am left wanting for more, probably even more than I want another chapter of Traveler. It's just so different than usual pokemon stories. It brings air of ancient reality and greatness. I miss that.

Any chance you will continue this? This is a fantastic introduction to Taimu's story. Obviously he lives (or he wouldn't unite Indigo), but the chapter leaves a huge blank. Please update.
Ah, and Haze (Infernus' original move) is an actual move in pokemon (ice type move ironically). It's nitpicky, I know, but it bugs me a bit because I battle competitively.

Sir Aaron sighting! At least a reference to him anyway.
Hisou's fate was unexpected and brutal for such an honorable man to die like that is a tragedy. Hopefully Haru gets what he deserves for his actions, killing someone is one thing breaking their mind is just overkill . Especially true if Kappa died first and Hisou was fighting alone against a Golduck.
Taimu's goodbyes with his mother and sister were touching and I definitely hope he'll see them again someday. Alive of course.
Mamaru's alot stronger than I figured he would be , I mean I always figured he wasn't an ordinary Rhydon when we met him in Traveler but I did think he was that special. It's starting to look like he's truly one of a kind.
Rhydon and Nidoking are some of my favorite Pokemon and I wanted you to know that you portrayed them perfectly.
Nidoran and Rhyhorn evolutionary lines are related so I'm a bit worried Nidoking will have a fate like Mamaru's.
Living a thousand years without your family would be hell.
Especially without Ash.

I've read all your Pokemon Fan Fics and they are superbly written! I am extremely excited to read the next installment of Champion, and have been so since it's debut! This is not so much a review rather a call for you too continue, Hope to see the next installment soon!

Sorry for taking so long to review this story. First of all, I think it's a really interseting idea to see just how Kanto was founded. It's a very interesting concept and I think this is the first time I've seen anyone actually go deep into it. That said, this story does do a great job showing the horors of a real war where Pokemon could be involved. The Mindflayer, it just seems like Nightmare Fuel incarnate. We get to see Taimu obtain a reason for uniting all of Indigo, and we get some backstory on the ancient land, describing the empire of Cerulean, the Ryujin, and how Lavender is the greatest opposing force to Cerulean. I cant wait to see more. My only complaint is that we didn't get to see any of Mamaru's time as a hyhorn, however, that's very minor. Why did you choose Mamaru for his name?
