It was alright, but I dont think the ghoul investigator would bother with much dialogue. Like all that talk about corrupting hide, you know.
There wasn’t really much wrong with it, but it didn’t WOW me either, if you know what I mean.

Some of your grammar with the speech marks is a little off. Mainly around the point when Hide was talking to Shinohara.
The story is okay, but it’s a little rushed.
I don’t think what ghouls smell is based off of their species. Canonically, to ghouls, Kaneki smells like Rize, but not ghoul/human. So I guess it’s the same here considering he’s her son.

I don't care how long it takes you. I just want to keep reading. Before reading your story, I had already imagined a story in which Rize is Kaneki's mother. I loved your story sincerely.
