This is a lovely example of "How Deep Is Your Love?" by the Bee Gees. Mrs. Robertson means well, but she is the embodiment of the concept: "Because we're living in world of fools breaking us down, when they all should let us be. We belong to you and me."
Yes, Percy and Annabeth are young, but they have also done more in their time together in their short lives than many people achieve and/or deal with over far longer lives.
Again, Mrs. Robinson means well, but she doesn't know them. But coming from Mrs. Robinson's perspective, I could see why, without knowing anything about their private lives, she would come to her conclusions.
This is lovely.
