I literally broke out into mostly-suppressed laughter more than once while reading this.
For being so smart, it's funny how wildly off-base "Harry" can wind up. Passwords. Lockhart. The Weasley conspiracy.
Almost-redeemable Riddle is a fun character, too. Sure, he'll let a kid be bitten by a snake, but he won't let his own diary use Ginny. The comedic timing there was excellent.

And despite Lockhart being killed by a single giant spider that there was nothing special about, Harry continues to think that he was one of the most powerful wizards he has ever met.

Harry on defeating Quirrel:
"Wow, I'd just murdered a teacher and I didn't even get detention. They weren't nearly this lenient when I went to school."
And that is why this belongs on my list of favorites. The whole thing is great humor that takes a poke at canon without feeling too mean.
