So much suspense, it's gonna kill me trying to figure this out on my own. What happened between Trina and Beck in that orphanage? What happened to Tori that night? Will Jade ever find any of this out? (Okay that one has to be a yes, or else there would be no relationship). The story's caught my attention, thank you. Can't wait to see how all of this progresses

Okay, from what i can tell, the thunder is a trigger, but the event must have been worse. It feels like Tori was punished by being placed in a small, dark room, possibly a closet, and left for hours when she was young. Something would happen, and she'd be frightened, and no one would be there to comfort her. There may be more, or i could be totally off. Whatever happened, it was bad enough that she has nightmares, anxiety, and who knows what other synonyms. The good news, she does seem to be getting better, slowly.
Jade's there to comfort her now. So the storm may rage, but the goth is there to make everything all right.

I dunno if it's nice or annoying that Trina acted like an overprotective older sister heh heh heh.
Also the storm bringing Jade and Tori closer was a nice touch.
