I guess they wanted more stories about Itachi in Middle-earth, because he well, was misunderstood from the beginning. He did some terrible things, as a cover up to be a double agent for Konaha and the fans of Itachi would want to know what's going on in his head if he were the one you wrote about. But either way, I think you did right with Sasuke. I will say one thing for sure, Sauron may be having Sasuke deal with him himself. Shiver.

Way to go Izuna! I hope he can find his mother, if she's still alive.

Great fic. I'm always a bit leery of Naruto and LOTR crossovers, but this was great. Though I'm a little bit "what the hell" at Sasuke being some wild oats guy with fifteen kids from different mothers.

Just gonna point out a bit of grammar and cultural thing. Theoden is actually a direct descendent of Eorl the Young. An "indirect descendent" is someone that is descended from the relative of a person, rather than the person themselves. Theoden is descended from Helm Hammerhand's sister, and thus still has direct traceable ancestry to Eorl.
Also the culture of Rohan is very heavily influenced by real world medieval Anglo-Saxon culture. Which means (and Tolkien even specifically mentioned it in his notes) that the relationship between a man and his sister-sons was considered especially close. There's no shame culturally in inheriting from your mother's brother.

I'm a bit confused as to why Sasuke wouldn't tell Theoden his name. It doesn't strike me as any great secret.

From where I'm standing, you made Sasuke sasuke. Nothing more. He's no Mary Sue; that's for sure.

I figured Sasuke hypnotized him. And a good thing you did too. I didn't want to read that idiotic incident again.

I never expected Madara to react the way he did with Sasuke about Izuna. I guess even he can act like a...father.

But Denethor will know later about Boromir's death pretty soon; and that's when things get shaky.

So Boromir finally died from the arrow; I forgot about that. Well I guess that had to happen sooner or later. Thanks for letting him be there for so long.

Well I guess you have a point on the swordsmen there. Still I hope Boromir is okay.
